Current Remote Learning Plan/Back to School. Dr. Olson talked about the current remote learning plan. There have been some issues, which we have been addressing these issues and will continue to do so until they are resolved. We originally said that we would continue remote learning until the end of the 1st quarter, we have 6-weeks left until the end of the 1st quarter. As of today, if we were to return to full in person learning, we would not be able to abide by the guidelines set forth by ISBE and IDPH. We are into different hybrid models or continue with remote learning. Dr. Olson addressed several questions from the Board Members. Our goal is and always has been to bring our students back safely. There was a discussion about putting another survey out to parents and staff. There was a consensus from the Board to send a survey out as soon as possible to parents and staff for their input on full remote learning or a hybrid model. Full remote learning will still always remain an option for parents. When asked what the turn around time is for this survey, Ms. Haynie stated that survey results can be back in approximately 10-days.
