Illinois State Senate District 17 issued the following announcement on Nov. 13.
We will be hosting a series of town halls in the coming weeks to discuss our recent hearings on criminal justice reform called by the Illinois Legislative Black Caucus to address systemic racism. We want to get your input.
The first town hall will be on Thursday, Nov. 19 at 4 p.m. Join us to discuss police accountability on my Facebook page. We'll respond to questions, concerns and suggestions.
