Village of South Chicago Heights Board of Trustees Committee of the Whole met Nov. 16.

Here is the minutes provided by the committee:

A Committee of the Whole meeting was held at the Village Hall, 3317 Chicago Road, South Chicago Heights, Illinois. Mayor Terry Matthews called the meeting to order at 7:26 p.m. Mayor Matthews requested Village Clerk Linan to call roll. The following were present:

Terry L. Matthews, Mayor

Sally Marrufo, Trustee

John Ross, Trustee

Tracy Bosco, Trustee 

Eric Stanton, Trustee 

Terry Fiorenzo, Trustee 

Chad Vlietstra, Fire Chief

Catherine Linan, Clerk 

Matt Welch, Attorney

John Dolasinski, Treasurer 

Nora Gomez, Village Administrator 

Nick Goncher, Bldg. Director 

Mark Martin, Public Works 

William Joyce, Police Chief

Jesse Kozinski, Lieutenant

Trustee Eugene Fazzini was absent.

PUBLIC COMMENT: None.

DISCUSSION - ACCESS ONE PROPOSAL FOR CIVIC SYSTEMS SERVER/SWITCH: Mayor Matthews asked Administrator Gomez to explain. Administrator Gomez summarized trouble shooting that occurred over the last 6 months with our current iCloud-based software connectivity versus an on-site server that would host our software Civic Systems. Administrator Gomez explained that another option was a second server, but the file path would still be the same and was not recommended and she explained the pricing in the proposal. Discussion ensued amongst the Board regarding a revised proposal without sales tax and the correct amount as the down payment.

ADJOURNMENT: With nothing further to discuss, Trustee Stanton motioned to adjourn the Committee of the Whole meeting, seconded by Trustee Bosco. On a voice vote, all ayes, no nays; the motion so ordered. Meeting adjourned at 7:35 p.m.
