Village of Chicago Ridge issued the following announcement on Feb. 16.
The Chicago Ridge Police Department are looking to hire for the position of Part-Time Desk Operator.
Desk Operator (Part-time)
*** Must have a high school diploma or completion of G.E.D
*** Minimum 19 years of age
*** US Citizen
*** Must be able to multi task
*** Pass a thorough background check
*** Experience with computers and Microsoft applications
*** Be able to work flexible hours to include evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
Potential advancement to Auxiliary Police Officer and State Certified Part Time Police Officer
Applications may be obtained at the Chicago Ridge Police Department (10425 S. Ridgeland Ave Chicago Ridge)
Provide a copy of a valid driver’s license or state identification card
