Village of East Hazel Crest President and Board of Trustees Met April 28.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

Officials: Mayor Thomas A. Brown, Administrator Lazuka and Clerk Minnis Roll Call: Trustees Forte, Keams, Johnson, Ewan, Smith & Ortiz present.

Also present : PD Chief Roy Janich, FD Deputy Chief Mills & PW Brian King and in the audience: Carol Bouquet, Sherri Clark, Christine Janich, Helen Keams, Joan Hale, Carol Cook, Mr.& Mrs, J. Murry, Louie Dutka, S. Sokolowski, numerous PD personnel from EHCPD and other departments.

Invocation & Pledge. Silent invocation followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

Minutes: Trustees Ortiz and Smith made the motions to approve the minutes of the 4/28/21 regular meeting. All trustees were in favor. Mtn. carried.

Reports of Village Officials:

Mayor's Report: Mayor read Resolution 20-09, commending Mary Sanfratello for 31 years of service in the EH CPD.

Trustees Keams and Forte made the motions to approve Resolution 20-09. Roll Call: all trustees voted aye. Motions carried.

Chief Janich presented Mary with the Department's commendation and reviewed Mary's record of employment in the EH CPD.

Chief Janich took the time to acknowledge the three recently hired full time patrolman: Alex Eisen, Chris Eisen and Kaitlyn Grennes. The recently hired part timers were also acknowledged: Patrick Sirmsen, Kourtney Rodez, Dave Lux, Andy Jenentewski. Chief Janich recognized current officers in attendance: Randy Bogathy, Sean Keams, Mike Tuley, Sgt.. Mrjenovich, Jim Pressnak, Keith Jaros and Dennis Balassone.

Clerk: no report.

Administrator's Report: no report.

Open to the Public; Trustees Ortiz and Smith made the motions to open this segment of the Meeting to the Public. All trustees were in favor. Mtn. carried. Time: 7:30 pm

There being no input, Trustees Ortiz and Smith made the motions to Close this segment of the meeting to the Public. All trustees were in favor. Mtn. carried. Time: 7 :31 pm

Streets: Tr. Forte commended Officer Mary Sanfratello for her years of service to the EHCPD.

Finance/License: Trustees Keams and Johnson made the motions to pay all bills on the 4/28/21 Claims Sheets in the Amount of $51 m244, 71, Roll Call: all trustees voted aye. Mtn. carried.

SIGNS: Tr. Johnson had nothing to report.

HEALTH/SAFETY/PERSONNEL; Tr. Ewan had nothing to report. WATER/SEWERS; No report by Tr. Smith

POLICE/FIRE: Tr. Ortiz had nothing to report.
