Director Jasinski reported that everything is on schedule to be completed by the end of October. Work is completed on culverts and storm sewers.123rd Street was closed beginning yesterday for road reconstruction. Affected residents received a hand‐delivered notice about the closure. DRAINAGE AND ROADWORK UPDATES

Director Jasinski reported that Public Works employees are currently working on the east side of Harlem Avenue, doing minor patching ourselves.

We wanted to continue the watermain all the way to Harlem Avenue, but discussed it was encased in concrete near the fire house. Adam contacted Chief Doyle to request an easement with his Board. The Board agreed to a modified easement plan.

RIGHT OF WAY NORTH OF PALOS HOSPITAL

There is a piece of property north of the hospital that was originally thought to belong to Palos Park, but through research it was determined the property actually belongs to the City of Palos Heights. We hired Morris Engineering to survey the property and determine how it could be used, and if we have a need for it. Possible options for the property include: storage, vacate, sell to the hospital, see if anyone else (adjacent property owners) are interested in it.
