Report: General George Patton School District spent $20,403 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at General George Patton School District 133 was up 41.9 percent from five years ago, according to the South Cook News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $14,378 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $20,403 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 307 to 263 students over the same period.

General George Patton's spending in 2019-20 was 40.8 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
