Report: Worth School District spent $13,753 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Worth School District 127 was up 33.3 percent from five years ago, according to the South Cook News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $10,314 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $13,753 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 1,166 to 1,087 students over the same period.

Worth's spending in 2019-20 was 5.1 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
