Spring Semester to begin Primarily Remote

7

Moraine Community College issued the following announcement on Jan. 12

Due to the surge in positivity rates of COVID-19, Moraine Valley Community College will temporarily shift most in-person classes to a virtual format for the first two weeks of the spring semester. All students taking face-to-face or hybrid classes will receive communication through their college email from their faculty members regarding how their classes will meet from Jan. 18 through Jan. 29.

Select courses that require in-person instruction will continue to meet in person during this time. Other classes will occur virtually, which means classes will be taught online during the designated days and times via WebEx or Zoom.

Classes are expected to resume their original planned formats on Monday, Jan. 31.
