Report: Community Consolidated School District 168 School District spent $15,919 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Community Consolidated School District 168 was up 25.4 percent from five years ago, according to the South Cook News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $12,693 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $15,919 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 1,513 to 1,300 students over the same period.

Community Consolidated School District 168's spending in 2019-20 was 9.8 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
