Report: Community High School District 155 School District spent $15,997 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Community High School District 155 was up 3 percent from five years ago, according to the South Cook News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Mchenry County school district spent $15,530 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $15,997 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 6,515 to 5,772 students over the same period.

Community High School District 155's spending in 2019-20 was 10.4 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
