Report: Atwood Heights School District spent $12,431 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Atwood Heights School District 125 was up 18.8 percent from five years ago, according to the South Cook News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $10,467 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $12,431 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 735 to 610 students over the same period.

Atwood Heights's spending in 2019-20 was 14.2 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
