Report: Posen Robbins School District spent $15,252 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Posen Robbins Elementary School District 143.5 was up 66 percent from five years ago, according to the South Cook News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $9,189 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $15,252 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 1,716 to 1,398 students over the same period.

Posen Robbins's spending in 2019-20 was 5.2 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
