Report: Palos Heights School District spent $13,829 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Palos Heights School District 128 was up 21.3 percent from five years ago, according to the South Cook News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $11,402 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $13,829 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 736 to 723 students over the same period.

Palos Heights's spending in 2019-20 was 4.6 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
