Report: Ford Heights School District spent $22,063 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Ford Heights School District 169 was down 18.7 percent from five years ago, according to the South Cook News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $27,125 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $22,063 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 449 to 437 students over the same period.

Ford Heights's spending in 2019-20 was 52.2 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
