Village of Bridgeview Personnel Board met Jan. 31.
Here are the minutes provided by the board:
Chairman Lewis called the meeting of the Personnel Board to order at 6:02pm.
Roll Call indicated that Members Ahmad, Mazarka, Gholeh, Regep and Chairman Lewis were present. There was a quorum.
Also present were secretary to the Personnel Board, Cathy Siciliano.
Chairman Lewis looked for a motion to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of December 27, 2021. Motion was made by Member Regep and seconded by Member Gholeh. Roll call vote:
AYES: Members Ahmad, Mazarka, Gholeh, Regep and Chairman Lewis.
NAYS: None.
There being five ayes and no nays, the MOTION CARRIED.
Chairman Lewis looked for a motion to go into closed session to review closed session minutes and also for any background checks that may have come in. Motion was made by Member Gholeh and seconded by Member Ahmad. Roll call vote:
AYES: Members Ahmad, Mazarka, Gholeh, Regep and Chairman Lewis.
NAYS: None.
There being five ayes and no nays, the MOTION CARRIED.
The Personnel Board went into closed session at 6:03pm.
The Personnel Board returned to open session at 6:12pm.
The Board went back to open session at 6:12pm. Chairman Lewis looked for a motion to approve the closed session minutes from December 27, 2021. Motion was made by Member Ahmad and seconded by Member Mazarka. Roll Call vote:
AYES: Members Ahmad, Mazarka, Gholeh, Regep and Chairman Lewis.
NAYS: None.
There being five ayes and no nays, the MOTION CARRIED
Chairman Lewis looked for a motion to approve the chair to go and contact the Auxiliary candidate for further processing. Motion was made by Member Mazarka and seconded by Member Gholeh. Roll call vote:
AYES: Members Ahmad, Mazarka, Gholeh, Regep and Chairman Lewis.
NAYS: None.
There being five ayes and no nays, the MOTION CARRIED.
Chairman Lewis looked for a motion to adjourn. Motion was made by Member Gholeh and seconded by Member Ahmad. By voice vote, the MOTION CARRIED.
The meeting adjourned at 6:16pm.
