Alyssa Busker and Alyssa Horstman represented Trinity Christian College women's track and field team at the 41st Annual NAIA Women's Track and Field National Championships on May 25-27. Busker earned her spot in both the 100m and the 200m dashes, while Horstman qualified for in the high jump.

WEDNESDAY
Alyssa Busker finished the 200m preliminaries in 24.66. The mark was fourth in her heat and just .11 shy of advancing to the finals.
THURSDAY
Back on the track, this time in the 100m preliminaries, Busker punched her ticket to the finals finishing first in her heat and third overall with an 11.77 time. The time also broke the school record, which she had just set at the NCCAA National Championships.
FRIDAY
After patiently waiting all week, it was finally Alyssa Horstman's opportunity to compete in the high jump. Three unsuccessful attempts at the 1.59 / 5-foot-2.5 brought the end to Horstman's season.
The Trolls wrapped up the championships with the 100m finals. Busker crossed the finish line in 12.04, earning NAIA All American honors.
