Mayor Michael W. Glotz, the mayor of Tinley Park, recently appointed Kelly Sciaky as the new service representative for the public works department. Sciaky spent the last 17 years working as a customer service representative for the village.
“I would just like to thank everybody for the opportunity to work for the village of Tinley Park,” Sciaky said. “And I look forward to working for all of the residents here.”
Glotz didn’t stop there with his appointments. Maria Janik was given a full time custodial position in the village.
The mayor went on to appoint Michael Walen to associate planner for the village. Walen brings 7 years of planning experience to the job, starting his career in the nation’s largest park district in Florida. He holds a bachelor’s in urban and public affairs and is working on his master’s degree.
