B. Approval of the budgeted amount of $186,750.00 for construction engineering for the 2022 water main improvements. See the attached memo with supporting details from Director of Public Works Michael Salamowicz.

10. ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT 

A. Approval of Resolution No. 2023-02-0435R authorizing a Façade Grant for Commercial Property owned by Oliver’s Bar & Grill at 6150 W. 159th Street. See attached memo with supporting details from Director of Economic and Community Development Ed Cage.

B. Approval of Ordinance 2023-02-0955O authorizing a Zoning Map Amendment from C1 – Local Commercial District and C2 – General Service Commercial District to R6 – Multi-Family Residential District at 15801 Lorel Avenue. See attached memo with supporting details from Community Planner Paul Ruane and Director of Economic and Community Development Ed Cage.

C. Approval of Ordinance 2023-02-0956O authorizing a Variation allowing the reduction of 30 parking spaces where 85 are required and a height of 40 feet where 35 is the maximum at 15801 Lorel Avenue. See attached memo with supporting details from Community Planner Paul Ruane and Director of Economic and Community Development Ed Cage.

CITIZEN PARTICIPATION: The Oak Forest City Council invites public comment at its meetings, but it generally does not have the ability to provide an immediate response to some questions raised during the Citizens Participation portion of a council meeting without some reasonable opportunity to review them. Therefore, the City Council encourages questions to also be submitted in writing in the event that they need to be referred to City staff to help assure a more thoughtful and informed response.
