CALL TO ORDER Mayor Landek called the Regular Meeting of the Village Board of the Village of Bridgeview to order at 7:02 pm, on Wednesday, April 5, 2023.
PLEDGE Mayor Landek led the Pledge of Allegiance.
ROLL CALL Roll Call indicated the following Trustees present: Trustees Cecott, Pticek, Pinion, Higginson, Struzik, and Lewis
Also Present: Mayor Landek, Clerk Altar, Attorney Cainkar, Police Chief Mancha, Acting Fire Chief Grzadziel, HR Director Pannaralla, and Building Director Struzik
2023-M-35 APPROVE MINUTES OF MARCH 15, 2023
Motion by Trustee Pinion and seconded by Trustee Higginson to approve the minutes of the regularly scheduled Board Meeting of March 15, 2023. Upon roll call, the vote was:
AYES: 5 - Trustees Pticek, Pinion, Higginson, Struzik, and Lewis
NAYES: 0
ABSTAIN: 1 - Trustee Cecott There being five affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED
2023-M-36 APPOINTMENT OF NOVOTNY ENGINEERING
Motion by Trustee Pticek and seconded by Trustee Higginson to Approve the Appointment of Novotny Engineering as the official engineer for the Village of Bridgeview Upon roll call, the vote was:
AYES: 6- Trustees Cecott, Pticek, Pinion, Higginson, Struzik, and Lewis
NAYES: 0 There being six affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED
2023-M-37 2023 EMPLOYEE HEALTH INSURANCE BENEFITES RENEWAL
Motion by Trustee Pticek and seconded by Trustee Cecott to approve the 2023 Village of Bridgeview Employee Health Insurance Benefits Renewal Upon roll call, the vote was:
AYES: 6- Trustees Cecott, Pticek, Pinion, Higginson, Struzik, and Lewis
NAYES: 0 There being six affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED
2023-M-38 ORDINANCE 23-05
Motion by Trustee Struzik and seconded by Trustee Lewis to approve Ordinance 23-05; an Ordinance disconnecting certain territory from the Village of Bridgeview, Cook County, Illinois Upon roll call, the vote was:
AYES: 6- Trustees Cecott, Pticek, Pinion, Higginson, Struzik and Lewis
NAYES: 0 There being six affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED
2023-M-39 ADJOURN Motion by Trustee Lewis and seconded by Trustee Higginson to Adjourn the regular Board Meeting of April 5, 2023. Upon roll call, the vote was:
AYES: 6- Trustees Cecott, Pticek, Pinion, Higginson, Struzik, and Lewis
NAYES: 0 There being six affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED
