Village of Bridgeview Board of Trustees met May 17

CALL TO ORDER Mayor Landek called the Regular Meeting of the Village Board of the Village of Bridgeview to order at 12:02 pm, on Wednesday, May 17, 2023.
PLEDGE Mayor Landek led the Pledge of Allegiance.
ROLL CALL Roll Call indicated the following Trustees present: Trustees Higginson, Pticek, Pinion, and Lewis
2023-M-50 APPROVE MINUTES OF MAY 3, 2023
Also Present: Mayor Landek, Clerk Altar, Attorney Cainkar, Police Chief Mancha, Acting Fire Chief Grzadziel, HR Director Pannaralla, Building Director Struzik, and Treasurer Smith.
Motion by Trustee Pinion and seconded by Trustee Higginson to approve the minutes of the regularly scheduled Board Meeting of May 3, 2023.
Upon roll call, the vote was:
AYES: 4-Trustees Higginson, Pticek, Pinion, and Lewis
NAYES: 0
There being four affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED
At 12:05 pm Trustee Baste arrived.
2023-M-51 APPOINTMENT OF KEN PULLUM AND JAZMIN LOPEZ
Motion by Trustee Lewis and seconded by Trustee Pticek to Approve the Appointment of Ken Pullum and Jazmin Lopez as Personnel Board Members. Upon roll call, the vote was:
AYES: 5- Trustees Higginson, Pticek, Pinion, Baste, and Lewis
NAYES: 0
There being five affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED
2023-M-52 APPROVAL OF BILLS PAYABLE
Motion by Trustee Pticek and seconded by Trustee Higginson to Approve the Bills Payable as of April 19, 2023.
Upon roll call, the vote was:
AYES: 5- Trustees Higginson, Pticek, Pinion, Baste, and Lewis NAYES: 0
There being five affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED
2023-M-53 APPROVAL OF AMBULANCE PURCHASE
Motion by Trustee Higginson and seconded by Trustee Pinion to Approve the RFP Committee's Recommendation Regarding the Purchase of an Ambulance for the Bridgeview Fire Department.
Upon roll call, the vote was:
AYES: 5- Trustees Higginson, Pticek, Pinion, Baste, and Lewis
NAYES: 0
There being five affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED
2023-M-54 APPROVAL OF PERMITTING MODULE SYSTEM
Motion by Trustee Lewis and seconded by Trustee Higginson to Approve the Permitting Module System for the Village of Bridgeview Building
Department.
Upon roll call, the vote was:
AYES:5- Trustees Higginson, Pticek, Pinion, Baste, and Lewis NAYES: 0
There being five affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED
