We have received credible tips that four employees of Thornton Township were stopped yesterday while operating a Thornton Township vehicle during working hours.
The vehicle was pulled over in Harvey, Illinois after a complaint was called in, where there was allegedly a supply of wacky weed, and a pistol with an extended magazine.
The driver, a township employee, was allegedly arrested at the scene, while the three remaining occupants were released.
The vehicle was allegedly towed from the scene by Fair Tow Company in Posen.
