• 689 calls for service

• Sergeant Jeff Crowley was promoted to Deputy Chief, Officer Walter Droba and Officer Craig Clark were promoted to Sergeant

• The 2024 Police Budget was presented to Administrator Strohl and Chairman Basso

• Investigators seized a Volkswagen Jetta as a result of a money laundering investigation

• As of September 18th, the department is now compliant with the Pre Trial Fairness Act

• The department applied for and received a $42,000.00 IDOT traffic grant

• TFO’s Seized several kilograms of cocaine and $70,000.00 in United State Currency

CORRESPONDENCE/EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION

• The owner of Richard’s Bicycle called and commended the Officer Paul Mikolajcak for solving the case of the stolen bumper. He appreciated Paul’s efforts.

• A resident wrote an email thanking Officer Nick Belseth for his professionalism and compassion that he offered Mr. Londos, who was involved in a car accident.
