Christine L. "Chris" Winship, aged 82, of Orland Park, IL, and formerly of Midlothian, IL, passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late Gene Winship, with whom she was married for 56 years. Chris was the loving mother of Joy Bohrer and Jill Carrera, and the cherished grandmother of several grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Carole Peters and remembered for her service at Grace Fellowship Church in Oak Forest, IL.

Chris was a dedicated member of Grace Fellowship Church, where she served in various ministries. Alongside her late husband Gene, she enjoyed traveling with family and friends and attending her grandchildren's various events and activities. A visitation will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Grace Fellowship Church, with a funeral service following. Burial will be private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
