George M. Weiss, aged 69, passed away. He was the devoted husband of Mary, nee Tedeschi, for 49 years and the loving father of Anthony and Bridget Weiss. George was the proud grandfather of Andrea and Aiden and is survived by his siblings John, Michael, Theresa, Patricia, JoAnn, and DiAnn. He was also fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, along with his faithful canine companion Jackie Robinson.

A passionate Chicago sports fan, George enjoyed supporting the White Sox, Bears, and Blackhawks. He found pleasure in outdoor activities like hunting and driving his Santa Cruz truck. George's favorite foods included pizza, beef sandwiches, and barbecue. However, his greatest joy came from spending time with his family.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2024, from 2-7 p.m. The funeral will take place on Monday, October 14, 2024, at 9:15 a.m., starting from Colonial Chapel in Orland Park, IL, and proceeding to St. Elizabeth Seton Church for a 10:00 a.m. Mass.
