Cynthia I. Close, 62, of Tinley Park, passed away peacefully after an illness. She was the beloved daughter of Morton and Phyllis, cherished sister of Rita (Donato) Arredondo, and the late Ruth Rosenberg. Fond aunt of 7 nieces, 5 great-nieces, and nephews. Known for her kindness and generosity, Cynthia had a special talent for making friends and spreading love wherever she went. She had a deep love for her family, treating her nieces and nephews as her own. Cynthia enjoyed traveling, music, reading, and dancing. She took great joy in witnessing family milestones such as weddings and new additions to the family. Cynthia found peace in watching birds feed from a feeder she kept full, and she expressed her love through her passion for cooking and baking, delighting her family with homemade treats. A memorial visitation will be scheduled at a later date. To send flowers or plant a tree in memory of Cynthia I. Close, please visit our floral store.
