A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request was sent to the City Of Hometown, Illinois, on October 28, 2024. The request pertains to a comprehensive list of all unpaid parking violations within the city.
As representatives from South Cook News, we are dedicated to providing accurate and thorough news coverage on local governmental affairs. In line with this commitment, we have requested specific records under the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, 5 ILCS 140. We have asked for these records in an electronic format for ease of analysis and reporting.
The information requested includes a list of all parking violations currently unpaid in the city. This list should include the name of the offender, their address, the amount due for each violation, the date of violation, and total amount due.
