Senator Curran hosts community recycling event in Naperville

State Senator John Curran | Illinois State Senator

State Senator John Curran is organizing a community recycling event in Naperville. The event will take place on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at the Compass Church – Naperville Campus located at 1551 Hobson Rd. It will run from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Residents are encouraged to bring various items for recycling. Accepted items include cables, cell phones, computers, printers, game systems, holiday lights, and working bikes. However, certain items such as CRTs, TVs, hazardous waste, and large appliances will not be accepted.

“These community recycling events help residents clean out unwanted clutter in a sustainable way,” said Sen. Curran. “We look forward to assisting residents and making a positive impact on our environment at this free event.”
