State Senator John Curran | Illinois State Senator
Artists in the 41st State Senate District are invited to participate in the inaugural "New Year, New Beginnings" Art Contest. The contest, announced by State Senator John Curran, aims to capture the essence of renewal and transformation associated with a new year.
The competition is open to all artists within the district, regardless of experience level. Participants are encouraged to submit artwork that reflects these themes.
The Grand Prize Winner will receive a $200 gift card to Blick Art Materials. Additionally, five winners will have their work displayed at Pollyanna Brewing in Downtown Lemont from January 21st to January 26th. All winners will be honored at a special reception and each participant will receive a certificate of recognition.
Submissions should be delivered or mailed to Senator Curran's district office at 1011 State Street, Suite 205, Lemont, IL 60439 by December 31st. Winners will be announced on January 15, 2025.
