Calumet Public School District 132: How many students met or exceeded expectations in Math in 2022-23 school year?

In the 2022-23 school year, 2.5% of the students in Calumet Public School District 132 passed the Math portion of the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR), according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Of the 567 students in Calumet Public School District 132 who took the Math portion of the test, approximately 14 (2.5%) passed.

The percentage of Calumet Public School District 132 students who met or exceeded expectations on the IAR decreased by 0.7% compared to the previous school year.

Calumet Public School District 132 roughly covers three schools within Cook County and has a main office in Calumet Park.

The Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) assesses the progress of students in grades 3-8 in meeting the Illinois Learning Standards in English language arts and mathematics.

According to the 2024 Illinois Report Card, math proficiency among Illinois students in grades 3-8 remains below pre-pandemic levels, while reading performance has recovered. Meanwhile, 11th graders have experienced significant declines in both subjects, falling below pre-pandemic benchmarks.
