Nancy Joan (Geringer) Masters, 88, formerly of Lansing, IL and Tinley Park, IL, peacefully passed away in Hoffman Estates, IL on November 17, 2024. She is survived by her sons James Masters Jr., Michael Masters, Dan Masters (Angelique), seven grandsons Evan (Kyria), Andrew, Ethan, Justin, Jason, Ryan, and Seth, sister Carol (Geringer) Werner, and brother Charles Geringer. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, James P. Masters Sr., and her parents, Adam Charles Geringer and Anne Elizabeth Geringer.

Born on June 12, 1936, in Chicago, IL, Nancy graduated from Hirsch High School in 1954 and married James Sr. in 1960. The couple moved to Lansing, IL in 1968 where Nancy dedicated herself to raising her sons. In addition, she provided loving care for her grandsons Evan and Andrew. Nancy also served as an adult caregiver, showcasing her deep compassion for others.

Nancy and James Sr. explored numerous destinations worldwide, including China, Tahiti, Ireland, Great Britain, the Canary Islands, Italy, France, Switzerland, and Germany. They also enjoyed memorable trips to Las Vegas with their sons.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. at Brady-Gill Funeral Home, Tinley Park, IL, with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 11:30 a.m. at St. George Catholic Church, Tinley Park, IL. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip, IL.

Nancy's life was brightened by the love of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished in their hearts.
