Daniel J. Waterous, an esteemed U.S. Army Veteran and a resident of Orland Park, IL, originally from Mt. Greenwood, Chicago, has passed away.

He was a devoted husband of 46 years to the late Patricia Waterous and a beloved father of Meaghan and Michael Waterous. Daniel was the proud son of the late Harry and Lydia Waterous and a loving brother of Harry, Robert, and Cathy Waterous along with others. He was also remembered as the cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews and adored nephew and cousin to many more. Daniel had a passion for music, the White Sox and Bears, and was known as an all-around great guy.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1-6 p.m. The funeral is scheduled for Monday at 10:45 a.m. at Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, proceeding to St. Michael Church for Mass at 11:30 a.m., with interment at Good Shepherd Cemetery.
