Felix G. Widlacki, 85, a U.S. Naval Veteran, passed away. He was the beloved husband of 64 years to Kay Widlacki and loving father of Beth Berenson, Brenda Riddle, Timothy, Gretchen Winner, Craig, Leanne Beale, and Brad Widlacki. Felix was the cherished grandfather of Rachel, Stephen, Brittany, Marissa, Nicole, Jennifer, Athena, Ian, Nick, Luke, Jay, Daulton, Kurtis, Alexis, Shea, Samantha, Isabel, Logan, Alexander, Brady, Tyler, and Jordan. He was the proud great-grandfather of Emmi, Dylan, Declan, Lilia, Lukas, Lucy, Levi, Sloane, Savannah, Cameron, Cole, Delilah, Grace, and Braycen. Felix was the dear brother of James Daley Jr. and predeceased by his seven siblings.

Felix, who grew up in the back of the yards neighborhood in Chicago, served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Saratoga in the Mediterranean. He founded Beverly Manufacturing alongside his wife, Kay, beginning in their basement. Their endeavors led to a prosperous business. An outdoorsman at heart, Felix enjoyed hunting, fishing, skiing, and farming. He traveled extensively, exploring regions like the Arctic, Alaska, Mexico, Africa, Spain, Romania, Australia, and New Zealand. Felix's love for his wife, children, and grandchildren was profound, and he will be deeply missed for his presence in their lives.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 4-8 p.m., with the funeral service on Tuesday at 9:45 a.m. at Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home. A Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Church at 10:30 a.m., followed by entombment at Resurrection Mausoleum.

Memorials may be made to P.A.W.S. Animal Shelter in Tinley Park. Memories and condolences can be shared on Felix’s Tribute Wall on the Sheehy Funeral Home website.To honor Felix, flowers can be sent to the family or a tree planted in his memory through the floral store.
