This Valentine's Day, a card drive aims to bring joy to seniors in the community. The Annual Valentines for Seniors Card Drive encourages individuals to create handwritten cards, notes, or drawings for elderly residents who may be isolated or living in care facilities.
The initiative highlights the impact of these gestures on seniors, offering them a sense of love and remembrance during a time when they might feel alone. Participants are invited to drop off or mail their valentines to one of Senator John Curran's legislative offices by February 7, 2025. "My office staff and I will personally deliver these cards on your behalf before Valentine’s Day to senior citizens in local assisted-living and long-term care facilities in the 41st Senate District," stated Senator Curran.
