Genevieve "Gini" Ianello Remembered for Her Positive Spirit and Dedication

Homewood, Illinois - Genevieve Ianello, affectionately known as Gini, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2025. Preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Genevieve Ianello, and her sister Judi Kay Ianello Rangel, Gini leaves behind a cherished legacy of positivity and dedication. She was the dearest sister of Marie, Patricia (Tony) Depre, and Anthony (Deborah) Ianello, and a loving aunt to Rhonda (Mark) Vandenberg, Renee (David) Thieman, Robin (Ken) McElligott, and Regina (David) Casto, as well as a great-aunt to many nephews and nieces. Gini's warmth and joy touched the lives of many in her circle of friends.

For over 50 years, Gini dedicated her career to GrayCor, showcasing her passion and commitment to her work. An avid collector of clown memorabilia, Gini's lively spirit and sense of fun shone brightly in any room she entered, spreading joy wherever she went.

In honor of Gini's memory, donations can be made to the International Clown Hall of Fame and Research Center in Baraboo, Wisconsin. A visitation will be held on Monday, January 27, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Tews-Ryan Funeral Home in Homewood, Illinois. Following the visitation, a Funeral Mass will take place at 11:30 a.m. at St. John Neumann Church (formerly St. Joseph Church), with interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
