Nelida A. Matulis, born on March 16, 1935, peacefully passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025 at her Alsip residence at the age of 89. She was the beloved wife of the late Antonio Matulis, and the loving mother of Silvia Miarka and Claudia Ryan. Nelida was also the cherished grandmother of Nicholas and Zachary. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with the funeral scheduled for Saturday, January 11th. The Chapel Prayers will begin at 10:15 a.m. at Becvar & Son Funeral Home, Crestwood, followed by an 11:00 a.m. Mass at St. Terrence Catholic Church. Interment will be private.
