Mary "Kay" Durkin, aged 87, passed away suddenly. She was the beloved wife of the late Patrick Durkin and adored mother of Eileen Hunt, Patricia Durkin, Maribeth Owcarz, Susan Benson, Michael Durkin, and Noreen Hannapel. Mary was the amazing grandmother of several grandchildren and great-grandmother to many great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sister William Riordan and several nieces and nephews. Mary was a dear friend to many, including Evelyn Hunt, and a long-time member of W.O.W.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., with a Funeral scheduled for Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Becvar & Son Funeral Home, Crestwood, IL. The Mass will take place at St. Terrence Church at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. For more information, contact (708)824-9000 or visit www.becvarfuneralhome.com.
