City of Palos Heights Finance Committee met Jan. 14

ROLL CALL:

Roll call indicated the following were present:

Alderman Jeffrey Key Alderman Michael McGrogan

City Administrator David Strohl

The Finance Chairman called to order the executive session of the regular meeting of the City of Palos Heights City Council at 6:00 p.m. in the City Administrative Center, 7607 W. College Drive, Palos Heights, IL

1. Roll Call

2. Approve minutes of Finance Committee Meeting Minutes 12/10/2024 special meeting: Chairman McGovern motioned to approve the 12/10/2024 meeting minutes, seconded by, seconded by Alderman Key. On a voice vote, the motion passed unanimously.

4. Approval of Thomas Brown Bills

Chairman McGrogan motioned to approve Thomas Brown Bills, seconded by Alderman Key. On a voice vote, the motion passed unanimously.

5. Approval of Laner Muchin Bill

Chairman McGrogan motioned to approve Thomas Brown Bills, seconded by Alderman Key. On a voice vote, the motion passed unanimously.

6. Approval of Hiskes & Dillner Bills

Chairman McGrogan motioned to approve Hiskes & Dillner Bills, seconded by Alderman Key. On a voice vote, the motion passed unanimously.

6. Palos Heights Police Officer Educational Assistance Program

David Strohl explained the tax exempt provision of this program to the committee.

7. Recess to executive session to discuss personnel matters under Sections 2(c)(1) and (2) of the Open Meeting Act 

Chairman Key motioned to move to executive session at 6:07 p.m., seconded by Alderman McGrogan. On a voice vote, the motion passed unanimously.

Chairman McGrogan motioned to move to conclude executive session at 7:01 p.m., seconded by Alderman McKey. On a voice vote, the motion passed unanimously.

There being no further business, Alderman McGrogan moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Alderman Key favor. On a voice vote, the motion passed unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 7:01 p.m.
