Evelyn L.M. Fernandez, known as the beloved wife of the late Vicente R. Fernandez, cherished mother of Aileen E. and Richard V. Fernandez, devoted daughter of the late Juan and Patria Mayor, and loving sister of Nena and Charles - predeceased by Francisco, Aida, Arturo, Daisy, and John. She was an adored aunt and Lola to many and a longtime nurse within the Cook County Healthcare System.

The visitation is scheduled for Friday from 3-8 p.m. The funeral will take place on Saturday at 8:45 a.m. at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 9000 W. 151st Street, Orland Park, IL, proceeding to St. Michael Church for Mass at 9:30 a.m. A live stream link of the Mass will be available closer to the service.

Interment will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. For those who wish to make donations, contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association at 225 N. Michigan Ave., 17th floor, Chicago, IL 60601 would be appreciated.
