Steve dedicated 15 years of his career working alongside his brother, Michael, at Benefit Administrative Systems as a Controller. Additionally, he spent 12 years applying his skills as a butcher at Whole Foods. Outside of work, Steve enjoyed sharpening his sharpshooting skills at the gun range and treasured the trips he took with his wife, Dawn, particularly their visits to Disney World over the years. As a devoted father, grandpa/papa, and great-grandfather, Steve took great pride in being a proud patriarch and making every holiday and family gathering a memorable experience for his loved ones.
Steve will be deeply missed for his selfless generosity, love for his family, and remarkable spirit by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Steve is survived by his beloved wife, Dawn Evanchik; devoted daughters, Michelle (Adam) Grunert and Danielle (Mike) Peterson; cherished step-daughter, Holly Donovan; loving grandchildren, Alexis, Logan, Ellarie, Emma, Paige, Jimmy, Aubrie, and Nate; adored great-grandchildren, Kinsley and Brayden; and dear sister, Mary Kay Elliott.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-7 p.m. at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place on Monday, starting at 9:15 a.m. and proceeding to Our Lady of the Woods Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Steve will find his final resting place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
