Juan Manuel Cardenas, age 63, of Alsip, IL, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025. Born on March 28, 1961, in Jalisco, Mexico, Juan was the beloved husband of Juana Irma Cardenas and loving father of Anthony, Sergio, Alexander, Joana, Jonathan, and Christian, and proud grandfather to Giselle, Jimeni, Jazlyne, Sergio Jr., Mia, Alyssa, and Josiah. He is remembered as a devoted family man, cherished brother, and dear uncle.

Juan dedicated his career to auto mechanics, eventually starting his own successful auto repair business. Known for his generosity, humor, and hard work, Juan's resilience and bright personality left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He took immense pride in his work and delighted in helping those around him. Above all, Juan's greatest joy was his family, whom he loved deeply. Gathering them together for a meal he prepared brought him great happiness, and his sense of humor and infectious laughter will be dearly missed. In his free time, Juan enjoyed tending to his garden, grilling, and listening to music.

Visitation for Juan will take place on Friday, February 14, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Krueger Funeral Home in Blue Island, with a funeral service at 6:00 PM. Cremation will be held privately.
