Harold Wayne Porte, 92, of St. John, Indiana, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025. Survived by devoted wife Anna Jean and children Kevin, Sharon (late Ron Boersma), and Steven, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Harold, a Korean War Army veteran, retired from Commonwealth Edison as a lineman and crew leader. Known for his service to the Lord and community, he volunteered at various organizations and did disaster relief work in the US. A visitation is scheduled for Friday, February 14, 2025, at the Village Church in Dyer, IN, with services to follow. Private burial to be held on Saturday, February 15, in Lansing, IL. Memorials may be made to Phil's Friends or the Bible League.
