Patricia "Pat" Joanne Walker (nee Jaworski) Passes Away in Homewood, IL; Remembered for Devotion to Family and Church

Homewood, Illinois - Patricia "Pat" Joanne Walker, a lifelong resident of Homewood, IL, peacefully passed away on Saturday, February 15th. She was the cherished wife of the late Billie "Bill" Walker, who preceded her in death in August 2021. Pat was a dedicated mother to Jeffery and Bradley (Maria) and a loving grandmother to Elena, Matthew, Lydia, and Max.

A true Homewood resident, Pat spent her entire life in the community she adored, embracing the beautiful home she and Bill had created. Their enduring marriage of 61 years was a testament to unwavering commitment, unwavering love, and steadfast partnership, as they stood by each other's side through thick and thin.

In retirement, Pat and Bill relished their time with family, friends, and their beloved pets. Pat actively participated in her church, St. John’s Lutheran Church, attending weekly services and serving as an altar guild member for many years.

Her grandchildren were the joy of her life, and she treasured every moment spent at their baseball games, softball games, golf courses, or fishing outings. Pat's constant presence in her family's lives, her unwavering love, and her dedication to her grandchildren will forever be remembered.

Pat's devotion and love for her family, pets, and friends will be deeply missed and leave a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Visitation will be held at Tews-Ryan Funeral Home in Homewood on Saturday, February 22, from 10 am to 12 pm, followed by a funeral service at 12 pm. Interment will take place at St. John's Cemetery in Country Club Hills. For further details, please contact tews-ryanfh.com or 708-798-5300.
