On Sunday, March 23, former Thornton Township High School standout Ty Rodgers’ current collegiate team the Illinois Fighting Illini lost 84-75 against the Kentucky Wildcats in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Fiserv Forum, this was the first game against the Kentucky Wildcats during the championship.

Ty Rodgers’ hometown is Saginaw and game positions are forward and guard.
