Bloom Trail High School standout Christian Shumate’s collegiate team won game in NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament on Thursday, March 20

On Thursday, March 20, former Bloom Trail High School standout Christian Shumate’s current collegiate team the McNeese State Cowboys won 69-67 against the Clemson Tigers in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Amica Mutual Pavilion, this was the first game against the Clemson Tigers during the championship.

The McNeese State Cowboys’ next game will take place on Saturday, March 22 at 12:10 p.m. in Amica Mutual Pavilion against Purdue Boilermakers.

Christian Shumate’s hometown is Chicago and game position is forward.
