John Strasen, 63, passed away on March 13, 2025, at the University of Chicago Hospitals in Chicago after suffering a stroke. He is survived by his mother, brothers, sister-in-law, niece, nephew, and their children. John, a devoted Cubs fan, worked at LARC in Lansing for over 40 years. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 18, at Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home in Lansing, IL, with a funeral service on Wednesday, March 19, at Trinity Lutheran Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
