James "Jim" Leon Bray, 85, of Valrico, Florida, formerly of Lynwood, Illinois, passed away on March 24, 2025. A proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Jim was married to Karen (Chris) Bray for 43 years and raised their daughter Stacy. An active member of East Hazel Crest Bible Church, Jim enjoyed golfing, fishing, and spending time with family. He is survived by his daughter Stacy, son-in-law Kelly, and grandchildren Alex and Amber. Visitation will be at Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home in Lansing, Illinois, with funeral services on April 15, 2025, followed by interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois. Memorial donations can be made to East Hazel Crest Bible Church or Victory Baptist Church. Jim will be dearly missed.
