Jeanette Emily Hunt, nee Hartmannsgruber, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025 at the age of 85. She was the beloved wife of William for 54 years and the loving mother of Joyce Petersen and the late Marsha Hodina and Michael Hunt. Jeanette was the cherished Nana of several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Jeanette Emily Hunt will take place on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral will be held on Saturday, with lying-in-state beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 10:30 a.m. at The Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, located at 7800 S. McCarthy Road, Palos Heights. Interment will be private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois, at a later date.
