Randy Julian Bruntjens, 48, of Homewood, passed away on March 24th, 2025, after a lifelong battle with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Survived by his wife Lauren and son Ethan, Randy was born on March 7, 1977, in Escanaba, Michigan, and moved to Illinois in 1979. He is remembered as the oldest son of Linda and Randy Bruntjens, cherished by his siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Randy graduated from Evergreen Park Community High School and Moraine Valley Community College, excelling in painting and drawing. He and Lauren shared a love for art events, horror movies, and industrial rock music. His hobbies included video games, spending time with his cats, and enjoying activities with Ethan. Randy's humor, honesty, and resilience left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Visitation and a celebration of life ceremony will be held on Saturday, April 12th, 2025, at Tews-Ryan Funeral Home in Homewood. Randy will be lovingly remembered for his bravery, humor, and unwavering strength.
