Aida Covarrubias, formerly known as Aida Calderon, passed away. She was the wife of the late Amador Covarrubias. Aida is survived by her children: Rocio Vicencio, Griselda Colvin, Adriana Covarrubias, Martin Covarrubias, Adrian Covarrubias, and Yesenia Covarrubias. She was also a grandmother and great-grandmother to several loved ones. Visitation is set for Friday, April 11, 2025, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Lack and Sons Funeral Home on 9236 South Roberts Road in Hickory Hills. Funeral prayers will be held on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home before proceeding to St. Bede the Venerable Church in Chicago for Mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
